The Kitchen Strand & Miele Provide Exclusive Barista Service to Local Charity

On February 13, 2009, The Kitchen Strand, a local kitchen design firm, and Miele, an international luxury appliance manufacturer, donated their exclusive gourmet coffee service at The Children Home Society's annual "Rockin' Vero Beach" fund-raising event. The designers-turned-baristas served a full array of espressos, caramel macchiato, lattes, espresso martinis and more to event attendees.
This year's event titled, An Air of Mystere, was attended by approximately 250 guests to raise money for the unique spectrum of social services designed to protect children at risk of abuse, neglect or abandonment; strengthen and stabilize families; help young people break the cycle of abuse and neglect; and find safe, loving homes for children.
