The Difference is Black and White
Kitchen Redesign - Jupiter Island, Florida
Kitchen - Before After
Refinished wood floors add warmth while a neutral palette of white, black and chocolate enlarges the space. All activity is centered on a dramatic hearth, soft lighting floods the room and the dynamic Persian Pearl granite is texturally antiqued for a lived-in feeling.

Before
Broken-up work centers make cooking difficult and congregating impossible. A pickled maple finish dates the kitchen and poor lighting saddens the space.

The transformation of this Jupiter Island home began with the dramatic re-design of 1,100 square feet of living space, leaving oversized breakfast nooks in the wake of a laundry room and a built-in hutch where the kitchen sink once stood. Designed at The Kitchen Strand and renovated by Sands Construction Company, all family members' needs were accounted for, including those with fur.

Work Continues at The Grace Place
This month we are putting the finishing touches on our latest instal lat ion for The Grace Place in Hobe Sound. The green room kitchenette, finished in pickled maple, will benefit musicians and speakers preparing for their ministries.

Recycled parts from an existing entertainment center and supplementary materials from our local shop make for anappropriately "green" installation.
