We've completed another lovely home on Jupiter Island, in association with Onshore Construction and Excentricities Interior Design. The Edwardian-styled kitchen offers a crip white canvas, allowing the extraordinary marble countertops to shine. A Scagliola stone hearth anchors the eye and the heart, embracing you with its warmth and grandeur.

SCAGLIOLA HOODS by Francois and Co.
Scagliola is a technique that was developed by impoverished Italian monks in the 17th century. Marble chips, stabilizing agents and pigments are pressed into molds with intricate detail, creating masterpieces that are indistinguishable from solid marble.
The Kitchen Strand and Francois & Co. continue the tradition today, creating dramatic hearths, mantles and custom architectural details.
Designers Prepare for Busy Season
The Kitchen Strand and Miele are busy preparing for another busy charity season, in which they will donate their time and coffee expertise to gala events from Vero Beach to Miami.
Four new gourmet recipes have been created for this year, in the likenesses of such architectural greats as Addison Mizner (spicy mango latte) and Eileen Gray (cinnamon Irish cappuccino).
