Fred Bowen-Smith, President
Fred established The Kitchen Strand in 1999 with the intent of establishing a "high end" kitchen design and supply company for the Palm Beaches. Since then, his unique vision and exceptional work ethic has led the Kitchen Strand to be become one of Wm Ohs' most consistent top producers within the entire dealer network. Fred graduated with a Master's Degree in Industrial Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He continues to manage the business with a "hands on" approach, overseeing everything from sales, design, drafting and kitchen specifications.
Jean Bowen-Smith, Vice President
Jean Bowen-Smith is part owner of The Kitchen Strand in Hobe Sound, a kitchen interior design showroom. Having relocated from Boca Raton in 2000, she and Fred opened their business on Bridge Road and enjoy offering luxury lines of cabinetry to clients locally and in the Palm Beaches. Jean came to The Kitchen Strand with a background in business and currently handles the purchasing for the company, assists in marketing and public relations as well overseeing the showroom.
